<p>Surface, properties, partic. adhesion, of glass, quartz, ceramics, carbon and boron carbide are improved by coating these inorganic materials, with polyesters produced from bivalent halogenophenols (or their mixture with bivalent phenols) and acid dichlorides or pref. terephthalic acid dichloride opt. mixed with isoterephthalic acid dichloride. The coated materials can then be coated with electrical insulators the inorganic material, e.g. C being a conductor is then insulated for use in the electrical industry.</p> |
