Photocurable composition and photocurable recording material made therefrom.

A description is given of a photocurable composition which contains, as photosensitive compound, a diazonium salt polycondensation product or an organic azido compound and, as binder, a high-molecular-weight polymer which is a graft copolymer containing a polyurethane as graft base and grafted-on chains which contain vinyl alcohol units.
The composition is suitable for producing printing plates and photoresists which can be developed with aqueous solutions. It produces printing plates having a high print run, good shelf life and good ink acceptance.
