PURPOSE: To improved orientation and homogeneity of individual particles of metal material for eliminating voids, by preparing metal powder comprising each component of rare earth, boron, iron in non-oxidizing or reducing atmosphere, dispersing in liquid, aligning under external magnetic field, removing liquid under wet-press, compressing and drying fro sintering. CONSTITUTION: At least one kind of rare earth element in the group of neodymium, lutetium, yttrium, etc., which constitutes about 12-24% of entire component, a boron component which constitutes about 4-24% of entire component and contains boron, and metal powder which, average particle size about 0.3-80μm, constitutes at least 52% of entire component, are prepared in non-oxidizing or reducing atmosphere. The metal powder is dispersed in an appropriate liquid, then the dispersed particles are aligned by applying an external magnetic field, thus forming aligned dispersion material. By wet-pressing this, the dispersion's orientation is maintained, so that the metal powder in aligned state is compress and dried, for removing a remaining liquid. The metal powder compressed material is sintered at about 900-1200 deg.C in non-oxidizing or reducing atmosphere. |
