Reel of the type which includes two flanges (2) and a drum (1), each flange (2) having a rolling rim (44) in the form of a T section with a central branch (43) and a transversal branch (45). The reel also includes a ferrule (40) with a cylindrical body (41) intended to hold the drum (1) and ending in an edge (39). Also included are identical profiled elements (3) arranged one against the other and attached, on the one hand, by rivets (51) or bolts, to the internal surface of the central branch (43) of the rolling rim (44) and, on the other hand, by rivets (50) or bolts to that edge (39) which is facing the body (41) of the ferrule (40). The reel, which further includes braces (57) for assembly of the flanges, is characterised by the face that each hub (30) is integral to radial arms (31) welded to the free surface of the central branch of the rim (43), the edge (39) of the ferrule (40) being attached by rivets or bolts (50) to said radial arms (31). |
