PURPOSE:To attain the reflectivity at which the interchangeability with CDs is obtd. and to improve sensitivity, reproduced light stability, durability, and light resistance by constituting a recording layer of two-layered films respectively contg. specific dyestuffs. CONSTITUTION:The 1st recording layer which contains a macrocyclic azaanulene dyestuff having 0.10 to 0.80 attenuation constant at the oscillation wavelength of a semiconductor laser and high durability of light absorption characteristics and has >=70% transmittance of a semiconductor laser beam through a substrate is formed on the substrate. Further, the 2nd recording layer which contains the dye having 1.7 to 2.5 refractive index at the oscillation wavelength of the semiconductor laser and <=0.05 attenuation constant is provided thereon. A reflecting layer consisting of a metal is provided on this recording layer. The reflectivity of the medium is increased to >=65% in this way and the interchangeability with a CD player is obtd. In addition, the excellent C/N value, reproduced light stability, durability, and light resistance are obtd. |
