摘要 PURPOSE:To make visual recognition of recorded contents impossible by a method wherein a light scattering layer is provided onto a surface of a substrate. CONSTITUTION:The title thermal transfer recording material uses a light scattered layer provided onto a surface of a substrate in the thermal transfer recording material of uniting a thermal transfer recording medium which installs a thermal transfer recording material layer on a under surface of the substrate and an image receiving sheet corresponding to said recording medium in a body. The light scattered layer provided onto the surface of the substrate is formed by dispersing fine particle pigment in binder resin to be applied and otherwise is established by utilizing a multiple extrud ing method, a frost working method, etc. for producing a film of the substrate or the like. As fine particle pigment one class or over are selected to be used among inorganic fine particles of metal oxide, metal sulfide, metal carbide, etc., organic fine particles of ureaformalin resin fine particles, organic pigments, etc. Those fine particle pigments having an average particle size of 0.02mum or over up to and incl. 5mum in a scattered particle state are selected. Further, the light scattered layer is regulated so that the surface of the substrate becomes to have a value of 30% or under in observed glossiness.
