PURPOSE:To obtain a chitosan chelate forming molded body having good adsorptivity even in a acidic region by introducing branched polyethylene imine into a porous chitosan molded body to increase the exchange capacity and introducing iminodiacetic acid as a metal ligand. CONSTITUTION:Glycidyl of aliphatic polyalcohol is made to react with porous chitosan body, and if required, epichlorohydrin is made to react. Then polyethylene imine is made to react, and further epichlorohydrin, iminodiacetic acid, acetic acid anhydride are successively made to react to obtain the chitosan chelate forming molded body. By this method, introduction of branched polyethylene imine enhances the ion exchange capacity, and then iminodiacetic acid and metal ions form intensive complex. Therefore, the obtd. body has large affinity to various kinds of metals even in low pH region, and it absorbs and recovers metals. |
