PURPOSE:To prevent a film from generating a meander by correcting a position slip of the film by the adjustment of speeds of a feeding conveyor and seal roll by a method wherein timings for starting of the film and feeding conveyor are determined by the rotational angle of a reference servomotor which operates cross seal rolls. CONSTITUTION:A film F to be used is determined depending on the length and height of an object to be packaged 25, and a number for a cut pitch of the film is input to a control circuit by a keyboard, and respective revolution numbers of three servomotors are set by operation. When a signal for start is sent to the control circuit, a reference servomotor 33 operates seal rolls 31, 32 with a prescribed speed, and at the same time, an encoder 35 detects a rotational angle of the reference servomotor, and inputs the rotational angle to an interface through a transmitting circuit 48. A central operation unit, while taking measure of timing, gives a signal to switches by a signal from a control unit, and starts first and second servomotors 23, 27 one after another with a designated speed.
