<p>PURPOSE:To perform high precision control of tension to parts other than a skid mark part by operating the lock-on timing of the tip of a tensionless torque arm of a material from the information of a stand, the material, etc., and controlling it based on this result. CONSTITUTION:In the continuous rolling by plural stands, the tension of a material between the stands is controlled based on a rolling torque. In this tension controller, each data for the distances between the stands, a position for detecting the material tip of each rolling material, the sectional area of the material and the material speed on the outlet side of each stand and the position of a charging stopper of a heating furnace are detected. Consequently, the arrival pattern of the skid mark part of the material tip part is detected. The optimum value of lock-on timing of the tip of the tensionless torque arm is operated by each material based on this result. The lock-out timing of the tip is controlled based on this result of operation to operate the tensionless torque arm. In this way, parts other than the skid mark part can be operated at each lock-on timing.</p> |
