PURPOSE:To perform image formation processing without varying the driving start timing of a registration roller by shifting the driving start period of a scanning means in response to a change in image formation mode. CONSTITUTION:When the image formation mode in changed, predetermined timing is controlled to desired timing by shifting the driving start period of the scanning means without varying the secondary paper feeding timing of a secondary paper feeding means which feed a form to an image forming means as secondary paper feeding. Namely, the necessary predetermined timing in copying operation varies according to the copy mode. Then while the secondary paper feeding timing of the registration roller 31 is held constant, the driving start period of an optical motor is adjusted. Consequently, even when the image formation mode is varied, the secondary paper feeding timing need not be varied according to the mode change and form feed control can be performed at constant timing at all times. |
