PURPOSE:To remove the rust in a water supply pipe by providing a container for a cleaning soln. at one end of a stop valve capable of being connected to the pipe and furnishing a compressed air tank to the other end of the container. CONSTITUTION:The water in the terminal branch pipe 17 is discharged, the stop valve 15 is closed, a handle for a tap 21 is dismounted, and one end of a flexible pipe 12 is connected to the part. The tank 10 and container 4 are connected through couplers 6 and 5, and a stop valve 7 is opened. When the stop valve 3 of the container 4 is operated, the water in the container 4 passes through the stop valve 3 instantaneously and enters the water supply pipe 13. The water from the tap 21 passes through a riser branch pipe 18, a terminal branch pipe 17 and a riser branch pipe 20 as a water block and flows out from a tap 23. Consequently, the slimy red rust deposited on the inner wall is stripped off, and the pipe is efficiently cleaned. |
