<p>PURPOSE: To biochemically de-ink a waste paper without using hydrogen peroxide, etc., by pulping a waste printing paper with an enzyme and treating the resultant pulp by a flotation method, etc. CONSTITUTION: A waste printing paper is pulped with preferably 0.005-5% (based on the dry weight of the waste paper) of an enzyme (preferably a cellulase or a pectinase) and ink particles are then removed from fibers by a flotation method and/or a washing method.</p> |
