A freezer has a flap (10) at the front of a shelf (21). The front edges of the two side walls (19) of the freezer each have a cup-shaped recess (22) for a U-shaped pin (18) forming the pivot axis of the flap (10). Above each recess (22) is a pocket (23) into which a projecting upper edge part (12) of the flap (10) may be received. The flap can be lifted a little from the position shown in Figure 1, the edge part (12) being moved away from the ridge (24) at the same time as the bearing part (18) is moved upwards in the cup (22). The the upper edge (11) of the flap can be moved outwards from the freezer and forwards and downwards, so that the articles on the shelf (21) becomes available. <IMAGE> |
