The invention relats to a body 16 whose component materials allow it to have a density very slightly greater than that of water. The body 16 is intended to equip floats 18 of low buoyant capacity, whether or not fitted with an antenna 19. It slides freely on floats comprising a cylindrical part. A system of stops 17, 31 limits the displacement of the body 16 on the float. The body 16 has the purpose, during casting, of increasing the weight of the float 18 and thus allows greater distances to be reached. When the float 18 is in the fishing position, the weight of the body 16 is cancelled in the water by adding several milligrams to the weight of the line, coming to bear against the stop 31. The float 18 retains all of its sensitivity. The bodies 16 are produced with various volumes and shapes. The addition of a teat 20 on the base 17 makes it possible to dismount the float and change the body 16 for a body of greater or lesser weight. When changed over, the bodies 16 do not alter the original weight of the line, and therefore of the float. <IMAGE>
