The invention relates to a cascode differential stage comprising a first T1 and a second T2 transistor which are coupled by their emitters and are arranged so as to receive input signals on their base and the collectors of which are connected to the emitters of a third T3 and a fourth T4 transistor respectively forming the cascode and the collectors of which are connected to a supply voltage source across a first R3 and a second R4 resistor respectively, the emitters of the first T1 and second T2 transistors being connected to a first current source. In order to increase the pass band, the bases of the third T3 and fourth T4 transistors are both connected to the common point between a second current source V6, T6 and the cathode of a diode T5 whose anode is connected to the said supply voltage source. <IMAGE>
