PURPOSE:To obtain the stable separation of a paper leaf at a high speed by setting the swaying angle of a sucker greater than the turning angle of the paper leaf to be bitten in a roller. CONSTITUTION:A sucker 2 is pushed to a paper leaf 1 at its suction port. When negative pressure is supplied to the suction port by the work of a bearing valve 3B, the sucker 2 absorbs one sheet of the paper leaf 1, and swayed round its shaft 2A. It holds down one end of the paper leaf 1 by its foot, turns another end, and brings the former end of the paper leaf 1 to the joining point of bite-in rollers 4 and 5. It is furthermore swayed and stopped. At this position, its swayed angle is desirable to be a little greater than the turning angle of the paper leaf 1 to be bitten in the rollers 4 and 5. At this stopping position, the sucker 2 is connected to the open air by the work of the bearing valve 3B. This construction permits to ensure the smooth separation of the paper leaf from the sucker, prevent the re-absorption, the abrasion of a cup-shaped ring, and the like, and obtain the high-speed separation. |
