PURPOSE:To feed powdered coal in a uniformly scattered state by supplying the powdered coal into the Venturi part of a nozzle from a hopper by a screw conveyor to mix with pressure air and injecting secondary air stream at the succeeding stage. CONSTITUTION:A screw conveyor to rotate a spiral 1b in a pipe 1a is provided between a hopper and a Venturi part 5 of a nozzle 4 for supplying powdered coal at a fixed quantity, and the powdered coal is mixed with the pressure air introduced from an inlet 6 at a throat part 7 faced to the top of the Venturi part 5. Furthermore, pressure air introduced from an inlet 8 and jetted out from narrow holes 9 and 10 and steam are mixed for producing the mixture air stream of the powdered coal, and the mixture is supplied to a combustion device as it is. |
