<p>PURPOSE:To decrease the deterioration of an S/N ratio by bringing the outside of a magnetic tape which is wound around the outer peripheral surface of a rotary drum and guided into contact by a magnetic tape pressing means and pressing the magnetic tape against the outer peripheral surface of the rotary drum. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic tape pressing member 35 abuts on a stopper pin 39 and is controlled to a rotary position. In this state, the rotary drum 4 is rotated as shown by an arrow 30 and the tape begins to be loaded. In this process, the magnetic tape 22 does not contact the magnetic tape contact surface 35a of the member 35 and is wound helically around the outer peripheral surfaces of the drum 4 and a fixed lower drum 5. After the operation, a motor 41 is fed with electricity to transmit a turning force to a pinion 35b, which rotates as shown by an arrow 36. In this process, the tape 22 comes into contact from outside its upper edge and is clamped with the outer peripheral surface 4a of the drum 4. Then the member 35 in rotation is controlled to the rotary position by abutting on a stopper pin 40 and the motor 44 is released from being fed with the electricity.</p> |
