MOVING TARGET DETECTING CIRCUIT OF RADAR APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To hold the phase relation to the amplitude between channels (Chs) by a small-scale circuit and to obtain AMTI of a plurality of clutter erasable Chs by performing filter coefficient operation only to a representative Ch and adapting the obtained filter coefficient to all of the Chs. CONSTITUTION:Each of AMTI circuits 1, 2 consists of (K) delay circuits 3, (K) weighting circuits 4, an adder circuit 5 and a subtractor circuit 6 and the circuit 2 has an operation circuit 7 operating a filter coefficient for forming the min. estimated error filter using the input/output of the N-ch channel. The circuit 7 operates the filter coefficient using the K-bit receiving signal and erasure signal YN immediately before the present point of time and this filter coefficient is multiplied by respective bit receiving signals in the circuit 4 and the obtained values are added by adder 5 while the added value is subtracted from the receiving signal at the present point of time by the subtractor 6 to obtain erasure output YN. This filter coefficient is adapted to respective channels in common. By this method, the filter characteristics of all channels become same and a clutter is erased and the phase relation to the amplitude of the receiving signal between respective channels can be held.
