<p>Process for measuring the cross-section or the diameter of cylindrical products made of conductive material, in which a solenoid encircling the cylindrical conductive product is used. At least one parameter, related to the voltage and/or to the current feeding said solenoid, or vice-versa, is exploited. The value of the cross-section or of the diameter of said conductive product is deduced on the basis of the value or values of the parameter or parameters, the length of the solenoid being several times its diameter.</p> |
