PURPOSE:To always obtain a high quality copy picture by providing a control means which exerts various control over the copying machine in response to an output from a fuzzy arithmetic means. CONSTITUTION:The fuzzy control system is composed of various sensors 100, an analog input/fuzzy arithmetic value output converter 108, a fuzzy arithmetic device 110, and a control MPU 111; the various sensors 100 are provided in each part of the copying machine, and detect various information of each part; the converter 108 inputs analog signals detected by the various sensors 100, and converts the analog signals into a fuzzy arithmetic value; the fuzzy arithmetic device 110 calculates a membership function corresponding to each sensor output and a membership function corresponding to a desired state signal from an operation part 109; the control MPU 111 inputs a fuzzy arithmetic signal from the fuzzy arithmetic device 110, and outputs each control signal to various controlled systems 112. Therefore, complicated relationships involved in a copying machine control system are treated as fuzzy information, and the copying machine can be appropriately controlled based on the fuzzy information. Thus, a high quality copy picture can be always obtained. |
