PURPOSE:To enable realization of a metronome corresponding to a communication sequence of an electronic musical instrument by outputting a code data for operation for letting a musical instrument generate sound for a specified time length as such for beat sounds at a time interval with a sound scale or sound volume differentiated. CONSTITUTION:A code data for operation is outputted as such for beat sounds from an event data output means M2 being functioned with a memory means M1 which stores a tempo data for indicating a speed of performance and a beat data for indicating beats and a control means M3. The code data for operation is a data which is set with a sound scale or a sound volume being differentiated to match beats and let a musical instrument generate sounds for a specified time length. Then, the data is outputted at an output interval based on the tempo data. Therefore, when the data is received on the side of the musical instrument, a sound is generated together with an event data for ordinary performance. Thus, a metronome sound can be generated being carried on a performance sound without providing the musical instrument with a special device. |
