<p>The invention concerns methods of performing enzyme assays using the technique of surface plasmon resonance spectrometry (SPRS). An SPRS surface carries an immobilised reagent which is capable of being released by an enzyme. A fluid sample containing the enzyme is brought into contact with the solid surface, and release of the reagent monitored by SPRS.</p> |
