PURPOSE:To effectively use an inspecting method as a general method for developing a picture analyzing system and to simplify the expression of work by systematically arranging picture data in picture processing and analysis and symbol data equipped with various feature quantity by repeating a basic method based on knowledge engineering in respective processes. CONSTITUTION:In a picture input part 1, the picture data are taken out and in a picture processing part 2, conversion processing such as binary / density / color processing, etc., is executed to respective defects. In a festure extracting part, an edge, color or area, etc., is emphasized and the feature of each defect is extracted, converted to the feature quantity and sent to a picture analyzing part 3 to lead a result out. In the picture analyzing part 3, the feature quantity is collated with the pattern of data, which are stored in advance based on the feature quantity, and classified by defect items in a large level. Then, the feature quantity is calculated to each defect item and a program, for which the knowledge and know-how of a well-trained inspecting person is arranged and formulated to be a rule based on AI technique, is taken into the feature quantity. Then, the result is led out. Thus, planning can be easily executed. |
