PURPOSE:To obtain the subject device capable of carrying out stirring and feeding oxygen by simple structure, effectively culturing a large amount of microorganism, etc., wherein a gas spray outlet is equipped at one wall face of bottomed cylinder and downward inclining the bottom of the cylinder toward the gas spray outlet. CONSTITUTION:A slant 1 is formed on the bottom of a main body 10 of a cylindrical reactor, the main body is made into an inverted eccentric conical shape and a gas spray outlet 2 is arranged on the top of the inverted cone. A wall face 6 at the spray outlet side is equipped at the barrel part of the main body 10 of reactor and a wall face 7 at a raw material feed opening side, having a formed solution delivery outlet 4 and a raw material feed opening 5, is set at the opposite side of the wall face to give a biochemical reactor of air bubble column type. The reactor is used, a culture solution of flocculating yeast, etc., and a raw material such as saccharose are fed from the raw material feed opening 5 to the reactor 10, a gas mixed with a small amount of air is fed from the gas spray outlet 2 to the reactor. Alcoholic fermentation of batch type is carried out, a formed solution is continuously extracted from the formed solution delivery outlet 4 and the cell is separated to give a fermented product.
