PURPOSE:To enable display of information suitable for angling and hunting by obtaining feeding activity data of living things from synodic diurnal motion data of the moon. CONSTITUTION:The time difference between a point and Greenwich and the longitude are specified to determine an hour angle of the moon at an arbitrary time at the point. Age of the moon is calculated from an elongation of the moon (angle between the sun and moon viewed from the earth) and the period (29.53 days) of synodic month. A moon phase data corresponding to the age of the moon is obtained to determine a number of fish marks data to be displayed from the moon phase data and an hour angle of the moon data at the current time. For example, the most suitable time for angling and hunting is noon or 12 o'clock in the hour angle of the moon at new moon and at full moon and the number of fish marks is 4. As a result, four fish marks are shown on a display section. Noon or 12 o'clock in the hour angle of the moon at the first quarter or the last quarter is the time the second most suitable for angling and hunting and when the requirement is met, three fish marks are shown on the display section. |
