PURPOSE:To reduce data transfer quantity between a terminal and a system main body by suppressing the return of a normal finish message when processing for a command issued from the terminal was finished normally, and returning and displaying an abnormal finish message to and on the terminal when it was finished abnormally. CONSTITUTION:A main part is constituted of the terminal 1, a system control program 2, display control information 4, a message output processing part 5, a command processor 6, and a log file 7. An operator sets an output suppression flag from the terminal 1 at need, and a display selection processing part 5-1 refers to the output suppression flag, and when the output suppression flag is in a suppression state for the normal finish of the processing, the return of the normal finish message is suppressed, and when the processing is finished abnormally, the abnormal message is returned to the terminal 1. Thus, the data transfer quantity is reduced, and response is improved. |
