[Also in Division C2] Pharmaceutical compositions possessing blood clot lysing activity and especially suitable for intravenous administration comprise in association, a preparation of human urokinase and an ester I (including acid addition salts and hydrates thereof) where R 1 is C 1 to 10 alkyl, allyl, C 4 to 8 cycloalkyl, mono- or di-alkoxy-alkyl of not more than 10C or phenoxy-alkyl of not more than 10C. In particular, a package consisting of a container of a preparation of human urokinase, in a form suitable for intravenous administration and a container of I in an amount sufficient to potentiate the urokinase, is suitably provided.
