<p>PURPOSE:To shorten a data displaying time by providing a storage area where displayed data whose number of lines is larger than the maximum number of lines which can be displayed on one screen is stored and performing scroll on the screen by the number of lines which can be displayed on a window. CONSTITUTION:The system is provided with a screen displayed data file 1 which is stored in an external storing medium, a logical screen 2 which means the storage area where the continuous displayed data (the number of lines which is three times as many as the maximum number of lines which can be displayed on one screen) including the displayed data which is to be displayed on the window out of the file 1 can be stored, a physical screen 3 which means the window and a screen control means 4 for controlling the above. In order to control what range on the logical screen 2 is displayed on the physical screen 3, the position of the line of the displayed data which is displayed on the first line of the physical screen 3 and the number of the displayed lines of the data are held by the screen control means 4. Thus, there is no displayed data which cannot be displayed even in a state where the window is reduced and the scroll on the screen is performed at high speed.</p> |
