<p>PURPOSE:To separately manufacture a pressure resisting housing for repeater and a cable anchor part, by connecting the respective optical tail cables, or the optical tail cable and a feed-through part or the cable anchor part. CONSTITUTION:In the side sectional drawing of a pressure resisting housing 7 for submarine optical repeater, an optical tail cable 1a consisting of only an optical fiber core which has secured necessary length from the side of a cable anchor part 3, and an optical tail cable 1b consisting of only an optical fiber croe which has secured necessary length from the side of a feed-through part 9 mounted to a cylinder end plate 8 of the pressure resisting housing 7 are shown. As for these optical tail cables 1a, 1b, the respective tips are connected by a connecting part 10 finally. In this way, the optical tail cables 1a, 1b are stored in a pressure resisting protective pipe separately or in the lump.</p> |
