PURPOSE:To effectively use a seat by providing a seat information processing terminal, a data exchange, and an alighting information input terminal. CONSTITUTION:A conductor fetches the latest reservation information from a station terminal 5 to the seat information processing terminal 12 via the data exchange 9, and starts a job carrying it. The exchange of information between a seat reservation system center 1 and the seat information processing terminal 12 is performed at every stopping station with the data exchange 9. The conductor, when recognizing change in the check of a reserved seat ticket and the status of the seat when checking the ticket, inputs the information to the seat information processing terminal 12. When a passenger alights, the information is transmitted to the seat reservation system 1 by inputting the reserved seat ticket to an alighting information terminal 10. Thereby, it is possible to perform the cancellation of the reserved seat after the passenger alights in the middle way, or the update of seat information for the change from the reserved seat to a nonreserved seat. |
