PURPOSE:To make the whole size compact and to house in a compact pressure container by providing a heater plate through an adiabatic member at the upper side as well as partitioning the inner space of a lower holder to provide gas flow passages. CONSTITUTION:An oxidizer gas flows in a distributor 9 in a lower holder from a gas duct 15, passes through a flow way hole 4, and goes up to be fed to the cathode side of cells. Then, it passes through flow way holes 6 and enters into a distributor 10, and is released from a duct 17. On the other hand, a fuel gas flows into a partition chamber 13 from a duct 16, goes up through flow passage holes 5 to be fed to the anode side of the cells, and after that, it passes through flow passages 7 and is released from a duct 18 through a partition chamber 14. Furthermore, between a heater plate 1 and the lower holder 2, an adiabatic member 19 is provided to eliminate the influence of the heater. Consequently, the whole body can be formed compact, and it can be housed in a compact pressure container. |
