PURPOSE:To apply a multi-color printing on a laminate piece without misregistration and to issue passbooks applied with information in a good multi- color printed state automatically and efficiently by providing a laminate piece turn-over feed part and a laminate piece feed part. CONSTITUTION:A laminate piece turn-over feed part 130 consists of roller pairs 55, 56, a turn-over part 59, and a detection part 64. A laminate piece feed part 135 consists of a platen roller 57 and a chucking part 63. A passbook P in an open state is fed until the leading end of a cover 10 reaches a passbook stop detection part 64 and stopped. A roller 66 turns up a laminate 12, and the passbook P is reversely fed. The platen 57 is rotated while the leading end part of the laminate 12 is clamped between a claw 75 and the peripheral surface of the platen 57, and the laminate 12 is fed to a position where a printing start position of the laminate 12 is opposed to a thermal head 68. At this time, the roller 66 is retracted downward of the platen 57 by the rotation of an arm 65. |
