PURPOSE: To adjust the parameter of a processing part by providing a controller with a means for recording a test patch consisting of a half tone image on a photoconductive member. CONSTITUTION: A light source and a screen or a raster output scanner are arranged and a half tone test patch can be recorded in the region between images of the photoconductive belt 10. An electrostatic latent image and the test patch attract toner grains from carrier grains, to form a toner powder image and the developed half tone test patch on the electrostatic latent image. During use, the toner grains are gradually reduced from a developer, so that a toner day tank 40 feeds the toner grains into a developing housing 42 a little at a time. When a motor 52 rotates a spiral spring, the toner grains are carried into a tube and discharged from the hole of the tube. This processing part can be controlled by the control of the operation of the motor 52 as well. |
