<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the inclination of a cathode base to a cylindrical structure by having the major dia. of the fitted portion of the cathode base to the cylindrical structure step-formed with at least two steps and the minor dia. of the fitted portion of the cylindrical structure to the cathode base step-formed with at least two steps to be fitted to the minor dia. of the cathode base. CONSTITUTION:An impregnation type cathode structure 4 has the major dia. of the fitted portion of a cathode base 1 to a cylindrical structure 2 machined with two steps and the minor dia. of the fitted portion of the cylindrical structure 2 to the cathode base 1 machined with two steps to be fitted to the cathode base 1. Accordingly, the inclination of the fitted portion is reduced. The inclination is formed less than an allowable inclination, the size of 0.03mm. As a result, there is less deviation of electronic beams emitted from a cathode in a great measure.</p> |
