PURPOSE:To obtain a single-head X-ray device to emit X rays of a strong intensity by striking accelerated electron beams from the surface of a ceramics type high temperature superconductor single crystal plate which consists of YBaCuO, BiCaSrCuO, or the like, and releasing X rays in the direction of the crystal axis. CONSTITUTION:A single crystal membrane or plate of YBaCuO or the like of the thickness about 10mu to 1mm is held by cooling cavities of a good heat conductivity which consists of a mixture material or a plywood material of a ceramics type high temperature superconductor or the like. And inside the cooling cavity, liquid nitrogen is let flow in to cool the single crystal membrane or plate of YBaCuO or the like. And, electron beams accelerated at about 1 MeV to 100 GeV are struck from the surface, and strong X rays unified in the incident direction of the electron beams, that is, the crystal axis direction, can be emitted. |
