PURPOSE:To shorten the time from zooming operation to the start of photographing and to improve quick photographing ability and operability by permitting a focal point adjusting motor to drive even when an irradiating angle is being changed during the zooming operation. CONSTITUTION:When a camera microcomputer 1 judges that an incorporated flash circuit 7 is in automatically emitting mode, a motor FM is driven by the control of an incorporated light distribution control part 9 and the irradiated plane of the flash circuit 7 is changed by interlocking with the zooming operation. At the same time, the microcomputer 1 feeds a control signal AFS to an autofocus AF control part 5. The AF control part 5, which received the control signal AFS, drives an AFM and automatic focal point adjustment is performed. Therefore, since the irradiation angle change, which interlocks with the zooming operation, and the focal point adjustment can be controlled in parallel, the time from the zooming operation to the photographing start is remarkably shortened. |
