PURPOSE:To increase the lifetime of a deodorizing function, to simplify a structure and to improve deodorizing efficiency by providing deodorizers for adsorbing an offensive odor component in a cooler chamber and oxidizing to decompose it by heating in the outlets of first and second ventilation passages, altering the flows of the air from the first and second passages, and mixing them. CONSTITUTION:Deodorizers 16 are provided corresponding to outlets 5b, 6b of first and second ventilation passages 5, 6. After the air to be introduced from a refrigerating chamber 2 to the passage 5 and the air to be introduced from a refrigerating chamber 3 to the passage 6 are passed therethrough, the flows of the airs are altered and mixed by mixing members 8, 9 and introduced into a cooler chamber 10. When the integrated operating time of a compressor reaches a predetermined time, a cooler 11 is heated by the heat generated from a defrosting heater 12 to be defrosted. Simultaneously, the deodorizers 16 are heated, and offensive odor components adsorbed by an adsorber layer 16a is removed therefrom. Thus, the structure of a deodorizing device is simplified, the lifetime of the deodorizing function is increased, and the deodorizing effi ciency can be improved. |
