<p>Hypotensive aminoguanidine derivs.. M3A. Are new compounds of general formula (I):- (where X=F or Cl; R1=OH and R2=H, or R1 +R2 make a bond; R3=H or 1-5C str. chain alkyl; R4=H or COR7, where R7=1-3C str. chain alkyl; R5=H, OH or COR7; R6=H, 1-5C str. chain alkyl or OCOR7; and (a) when R1=OH and R2=H, R3-6=H and X=Cl; (b) when R4=COR7, R3=H, R5=COR7 and R6=OCOR7; (c) when R5=OH, R3,4 = H and R6 = alkyl; (d) when R3=Alkyl, R4.6=H). Preferred compounds include 1-(2,6-dichlorobenzylideneamino)-3-hydroxy-3-methylguanidine (II).</p> |
