<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to monitor a beam directivity characteristic in an operating state of a radar by adding a test mode for checking up the beam directivity characteristic to operation modes and by enabling operation of changeover to and from the operation modes. CONSTITUTION:When a test mode is selected in a mode selector 820, an operation monitor 830 receives monitor signals from radar modules 101-1 to 101-N as inputs through a sector 940. It conducts determination of the quality of the operation performance of each radar module, while evaluating a beam directivity characteristic of an overall antenna. The results of these determinations are displayed in a display 710 for monitoring. The determination of the quality of the performance of each radar module is conducted by determining whether an output power of a transmission module 121 is within a prescribed standard range or not.</p> |
