The memories cannot be controlled via communication connections, but can transfer video recordings for payment in accordance with the programme from video cassettes or from the memories. The memories, like the cassettes, can be recorded or played back using the playing heads. The playing heads each comprise a moving wave tube open towards the tape or plate of magnetisable material so that the moving magnetic wave in it can be passed to or taken from a moving point on the magnetisable or already magnetised material. - The rapid memory has rotating components moving with the playing heads which move around directed towards the magnetisable material.
