PURPOSE: To easily take out a product by housing a preformed material from powder into a fused glass casing, setting it in a heatresistant vessel and reducing the outside size of the casting after forming gas bubbles in the casing. CONSTITUTION: In an isostatic press, the preformed powdery material 10 in the heat resistant vessel 15 made of graphite etc., and further buried into the glass powder 16. The vessel 15 is provided with a releasing layer 17 of BN, etc. The vessel 15 is set in a high pressure furnace and the glass powder 16 is made to a fused material surrounding the material 10 at a prescribed temp. After treating at the sintering temp., the gas bubbles are formed in the glass with the cooling. The pressure of the material housed in the glass is risen while holding the peripheral temp. of the vessel 15, and the outside size of the casing 16 is reduced. The bubbles are compressed as they are and do not stick to the vessel 15. The sintered product can easily be taken out by overturning the vessel 15. |
