<p>A connector (1) having means for securing to a substrate (5) comprising at least one metal member (20) which is accommodated in at least one of the boundary walls (10, 11, 15) extending between the top wall (8) and the bottom wall (9) of the housing of the connector (1). The metal member (20) has a part (21) projecting at right angles to the plane of the bottom wall (9) facing the substrate (5) when the connector (1) is mounted. The projecting part (21) engages in a corresponding aperture (14) of the substrate (5) where the connector (1) is secured to the substrate (5), by, for example, soldering.</p> |
