PURPOSE:To improve the operability by discriminating it to be the absence of a desire for further copy by the operator, releasing the interrupt mode automatically and restarting the interrupted copying immediately when no new original is inserted for a prescribed time and a key of an operation display section is not depressed after the end of interrupted copying. CONSTITUTION:When an interrupt set signal is sent from an operation control circuit 401 through the depression of an interrupt key by the user, a flag representing the interrupt copying state is set in the copying state, a copy stop signal is sent to a block and the set sheet number, paper feed sheet number and other mode are stored in a picture memory section 301. However, when an interrupt set signal is sent and the mode is in the copy standby mode, the mode is stored but a flag representing the interrupt copy state is not set. When the interrupt is entered, the copy end time is checked, a timer is started from the end and when a prescribed time elapses, a mode signal is restored to send an interrupt release signal to the circuit 401. |
