PURPOSE:To provide the title system in tended to improve plant growing state, so designed that an oxygen-contg. gas is blown into the soil in a growing vessel and a drain is provided so as to discharge out of the vessel the water collected in a water storage space at the lower part of the vessel. CONSTITUTION:A growing vessel 10 capable of holding soil 30 is prepared, and the soil 30 held in the vessel 10 is planted wi th a plant 40. The objective growing system 1 is to grow the plant 40, being additionally provided with the following schemes: (a) a gas feeding means 20 (a pump 24, a nozzle 21, and jet ports 22) to blow an oxygen-contg. gas into the soil 30; and (b) the vessel 10 is provided with a drain 11 so as to discharge out of the vessel the water collected in a water storage space 14 formed at the lower part of the vessel, and at least part of the drain 11 (the main part 11c) is located at a level higher than the inlet 11a of the drain 11. |
