<p>PURPOSE:To immediately turn off a power source at the time of depression of a reset switch to surely reset an apparatus by providing such control means that the power source is turned off at the time of operating the reset switch. CONSTITUTION:The power source is turned on by manual operation, and the power-on signal is sent to a power-on reset circuit 11 and is processed by software and is supplied to a control circuit 3 through the data bus of an M-CPU 5. The M-CPU 5 and an S-CPU 6 have a RAM and a ROM as normal storage means, and an external device 12 consisting of an FDD or a printer attached to a word processor, a demodulator cartridge for device extension, or the like and the control circuit 3 are controlled through the data bus of the M-CPU 5. Consequently, a power source 2 is immediately turned off by depression of a reset switch 1 even when the power source 2 cannot be turned off by runaway of software. Thus, the reset processing of each I/O is simplified, and a probability that the reset function cannot be executed is reduced.</p> |
