The invention relates to a nucleic acid and an oligonucleotide as derivant, as well as the probes constituted by or including said nucleic acid and oligonucleotide, specific to Plasmodium falciparum DNA. The invention also relates to a hybridation process for the hybridation of said probes with Plasmodium falciparum DNA as well as a process for the in vitro detection of Plasmodium falciparum.
