The invention relates to the technical field of machine tool equipment and accessories, and particularly of tool changers. The device according to the invention is noteworthy in that it comprises a vertical carrying arm 3 pivoting on a base 4 itself articulated to a support bearing point, the upper part of the arm being arranged to received, with controlled articulation, a deformable parallelogram structure 6 for supporting a tool 7 under the action of a lever 8 in extension and constituting the upper arm 9 of the said structure; the said deformation of the structure taking place against an elastic return means 10 the ends of which are respectively fixed to the vertical carrying arm 3 and the upper arm 9 of the structure. <IMAGE>
