The invention relates to a device making it possible to integrate a gate or barrier in an assembly of maximum rigidity, displaceable in its entirety without any dismantling. It consists of a U-shaped metal frame 1 which is fixed in the ground by means of a concrete screed 9 and on which there are fixed hinges 7, 7' of variable spacing and positioning, a limit stop 4 and stabilising brackets 6. The buried horizontal element is equipped with a tube 5 for removing water in the event of infiltration. The profile used can be hollow in order to incorporate electricity cables 11 therein. The device can recieve a cap 1'. The frame 1, in its part above the ground, and the cap can be covered 10, 10'. The device according to the invention is intended in particular for the positioning of all types of gate or barrier. <IMAGE>
