This extension 6 is intended to be fitted in a detachable manner on one end of a drink can 1 which is easily opened by a tear-off cover 5 pre-cut in its lid 3; the extension 6 comprises an elastic lateral rim 7 which can cooperate with a lid 3 crimping necking 4 for the positioning of the extension on the can 1, and the extension is provided, at its end opposite the rim 7, with a blunt edge 8, preferably rounded, allowing application to the drinker's lips without danger. <IMAGE>
